    Lund hitch-rack bed extender. Very adjustable, 750 lbs rating, fits a 2" hitch. I think I paid $125 from Amazon.

    Depends on what you want to do with your bed while you're transporting your boats. These folks have options www.oakorchardcanoe.com/racks.php . I use the combo of the front Yakima towers/bar and the bed rail plate option.
    Very sturdy and easy to attach/detach.

    Too poor to list anything interesting.
    I took one of those generic racks and had @phillstill weld some small tabs on the bar. This allowed me to bolt it in on the rail system using t-slot nuts.

    Haven't had any issue with it yet. I upgraded my straps to 25' long so that I could secure it to the bed as well as to the rack.

    I hauled several hundred pounds worth of 12' decking boards with the Lund version (750 lbs rating). It's a must-have with a short bed, IMO. I'd guess you'll have zero issues with hauling a light-weight 'yak. :thumbsup:

    I bought this from Austin canoe and kayak website. It works awesome. I spray bombed it black since this pic. But it has more clearance than the other types like this. I don't have a pic with the kayak on it. But it is solid and I really like it.

    This is my setup on my 2006 & now have the same thing on my 2013.
    There is room to put a 3rd Kayak between the J hulls.
    It is a thule rack with a fairing.
    Lengths are 12' and no problems many miles on the interstate to Maine/NH & bumpy fire roads.
    When I go by myself, I just put one in the bed like shown in other photos.

    5100's all around. Front's set at 1.75" 265/75/16 Duratracs.
    I have this exact same setup. I wrapped the bars with pool noodles so it wouldn't scar up the yak anymore than it already was. I have had many people ask me where I got my setup at. I would do a rack over the top of the truck so the bed would be useful but usually I am just going fishing not camping so this works for me. If I were taking it on a long trip I would look at one of the over the bed racks.

    I just use the OEM racks with my 14.5 ft. canoe. Two belly straps and one each front/rear work fine.

    I've got a long bed. My two 10.5's fit in the bed & I don't bother with an extender. I do use the extender with my 13'. Got the extender for $49 at the local home improvement center. I can also carry my 13' in the bed with the extender & a 10.5' on my bed rack (Inno racks bars & Reese gear basket).

    The Hyside is pretty sweet. Only weights 72lbs.
