Not surprising the 2 + 1 packs are known to be horrible. An AAL would be a poor Band-Aid at best. I encourage everyone with a 2 leaf to get a complete new pack.

My pack (and truck) was brand new, so not really a poor bandaid, but thanks.

I had no issues even hauling 1100 lbs in the bed, I wasn't on bump stops or hitting them. Only complaint with that setup was it didn't have the height I wanted. I could lower my front end or I could raise the rear. I opted to redo both front and rear suspension instead.

Your 4 leaf is only a minor improvement. If you think the band aid of 3 leaf AALs only apply to the 3 leaf packs, that's fine. But you'll understand one day.

My thread is blowing up! I feel important.
All this back-and-forth has me leaning towards Dakars with the third leaf removed, which I've been reading will net me about 2.125" of lift in back. I think that'll work with the 2.5" in front I'm shooting for.
    Adios taquitos.

I'm trying to get around 1.5" over stock AND improve cargo performance. My 2013 has the 3+1 factory springs. Because it's a Baja it sits level when unloaded. I have an Extang Solid Fold cover on it that weighs maybe 75 pounds. Any additional weight and it sags past level. I put 20 bags of wet mulch in it this summer and it hit the stops over small bumps. I think that anything more than 1.5" or so would look to high in the back compared to the Baja 1.5-ish factory front lift. The problem is that all of the full spring packs are rated at 2" or more, and most people say that they end up higher than the rating.

No, I'm okay with a little higher in the back. It's level now, but 1.5" is fine with me. I just don't want it TOO high.

If I go up 2.5" in front and 2.125" in back, I will still have rake but less than factory. I'm ok with that.

OP, did you pick a pack? I'm looking at finding a pack that nets around 1.5" as well since I have the standard King rear shocks.
