    808 ALLDAY!!
Getting married soon and a kid is being talked about afterward. Wifey is totally cool with my toys and loves going offroading, camping etc. Can my AC cab subfice for the time being? Love my truck but think I may need to up grade to a 4dr truck. Anybody here getting away with it comfortably in a way? Here is what I got for now, lemme know your thoughts and post pics if you have car seats in a AC, thanks all!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. There are actually several threads on this. You can squeeze one in, if you find the smallest seat possible and push the front seats forward. But it is really far better to get the double cab, car seat fits comfortably and your going to need the extra space. Babies require tons of extra stuff to be hauled along. Even if you made it work, they would soon outgrow the AC cab.

Edit: I got the DC for the same reason.

Wife and I decided it's time to add sum turbulence to our lives and I was thinking an ac would be just fine until I couldn't see where to put the kid. Plus your gonna need some where to keep baby shit dry.

Agree with all of the above, it's not just the baby and car seat it's all the extra equipment ya have to bring along to keep little ones running right. With baby on board you will always be glad ya got the extra room. Also blame the kid thing on her and with a tear in your eye tell her you have to give up the baby you love (your truck) and you will have to go buy a new one that you know you will never love as much ! Her guilt should have you ordering your new 2016 Limited, Sport, or Off Road in YOUR choice of color in no time. Buy before wedding in your name only so she is not entitled to half should the unthinkable happin, at least in my state. LOL, just kiddin man and congrads !!

Can be done, but its going to be awful and tight and not all around fun.

Front facing car seat plus access cab is pretty much a no go.

I sold my ac because the kid looked unsafe in the back with the 1/2 seats they have back there. Folded down or not.

No, grab a 2015 DC while you still can! They are disappearing quickly. You'll save thousands over a 2016 which are already showing up on lots.

The rearward facing carrier that you will be using right off the bat takes up more room than a regular car seat. It might be possible to fit it in the back, but not ideal.

My wife is 5'-4" and she has trouble riding an hour to my parents with the kid's toddler seat in the back. Her seat has to be all the way up putting even her short legs in the dash. When it's just me and the kids she loves ridin' in daddy's truck. I fold the front seat down and she can see a lot more out the window than in mom's car.

    Yes.

Based on what you say, from now to the wedding + nine months, and maybe more. When you know, you'll have 6 months to decide your plan. Being in a rush almost always causes missed opportunity. By then even the '16's will be a year old and we'll know what most of those early problems are. And they'll be pushing them off the lots for the 17's.

Maybe that's another type of family friendly vehicle altogether and you keep what you have. Could be less expensive that way.

That said, if it's a one vehicle choice, the 4 runner would be mine for this situation.

Kids are more important than vehicles. Rear facing seats are a must when kids are tiny and having them in the center of a rear seat is the safest location. Therefore DC Tacoma or other vehicle. If a person is too selfish to have a safe vehicle they shouldn't spawn. If they can't afford a safe vehicle to transport children they can't afford to spawn. In both cases birth control is the answer.
