Dash/Gauge lights not working

I've searched this with no luck so please direct me where I need to go if this has been covered. So I just got my in dash installed and now my gauge cluster has no illumination at all. The transmission indications are lit up as are the headlight and others of the like. Just the lights that illuminate the gauges aren't working. Didn't notice them until I got home and have been fighting with the shop that they in fact did work prior to in dash install but they are refusing to own up to it so it's up to me to fix. Any help is greatly appreciated.
