Just curious .. why bother? Much safer with them than w/o ... why would you bother to disable?

Does the led part turn off when the turn indicator flashes? I hate that on big expensive cars with the huge wrap of leds

yes it does. It's got to do with federal and state vehicle safety regs. Just like the fogs go off when you hit the brights. Same thing on Harleys. If you have the accessory lamps on touring they will go off when you hit the brights(unless you bypass the circuit )

Yeah, that drives me nuts too, always looks like something is burnt out.

I am sure someone will come up with a work around though.

It's a federal regulation, there would be no legal way around it.

Thinking about it now, they would count as clear corners if you blinked with them on

With the DRL option enabled in the lighting settings, the DRL LEDs are lit when the automatic switch is in any position except off. The DRLs stay lit when the turn signals are flashing.

Manually controlling the headlights / driving lights, the fog lamps can be set to on or off. When in auto light mode, the fog lamps come on with the headlights if the switch is set to on.

Another topic was passing power - let's just say my brother-in-law has a '15 AC V6, and he was impressed with how quickly 70 turned into 100 (moron camped out in the passing lane at 5 under, not moving over when there was plenty of room and people backed up). And it was quite windy today (30-40 MPH crosswinds).

Had to check 2x to make sure you weren't from Colorado, this seems to be the trend here anymore. Maybe the snowbirds are spending to much time here - not to worry we'll send them back soon, winter is in the air, the heat came on this morning for the first time.
