the shop finally got back to me in regards to the setup I was looking for with the 5100's on all four corners with 885's and OME Dakar leaf pack this is what they responded back with...

    "
Finally got word from ARB on those parts. OME coils can not be installed on non OME struts. So the complete OME suspension kit includes coils, struts, rear springs, rear shocks, ubolts and all hardware.

    $2250 + tax

That's parts, install, alignment, shop supply."

UCA's included in that price? If not it sounds pretty steep for install..
A complete OME kit with Dakars and everything is $1150 plus shipping.

I don't think so...what concerned me more is that everyone is suggesting with the lift I want to go with, to get 5100's and 885's yet this shop is telling me that it cant be done

I don't see why it can't be done? You would want to put the 5100s on the lowest setting. I run OME HD springs with Bilstein's on another vehicle problem free. What their probably concerned with is liability in mixing parts like that.
Are you capable of just installing it yourself? You can have Wheeler's assemble the front on the OME kit to make it real easy.

I just got these from General spring and I am pretty impressed with the quality. Hopefully they work as good as they look. 20150824_192821.jpg

Tell that shop they're full of shit, if I can run 2nd gen 883#'s on my 5100's I don't see an issue with the 885#'s & thats way too much $$$ for what your getting with install...

I'd def. look for another shop...

What's the "solution" Toyota does not yet have? Are they out of stock?

    1) Get the recalled springs first; your fiancé will prefer it ... And she'll be the actual driver ... she can get them swapped without you being present.

    2) Later, swap 'em as you wish, if you wish.

That shop is parroting what OME says in their literature about only Nitrochargers being used in their springs.

But I don't recall them placing a similar policy limitation on selling you just their $300 front shocks!

And yes it's bunk. The shop either doesn't know 5100s will also work well, or doesn't care.
