I recently had my 2011 tacoma 6 cyl in for a problem of pinging in 2nd gear at l500 rpms, and the tech did a po456 fault-ecm update, which corrected the pinging. several days later I had to change the battery and did not think about what would happen to the update and the computer until I made the battery change.
My question is by removing the battery did I just destroy the work that was done, the truck seems to be running o.k
