Anyone mounted a synthetic type fairlead to an arb bumper? What the eff is the protocol?

    Trying to mount a non roller type fairlead to Arb bumper. What the hell is going on? There is not a hole to bolt it to that seems reasonable and it doesn't look like even if I drilled that there is enough room between bumper and winch to even squeeze a bolt in.image.jpgimage.jpg

    just make sure it's a thick/deep enough fairlead that when you are making an off angle pull, your line doesn't rub on the bumper. if it does, it may be in your best interest to go with a roller fairlead with delrin rollers. pros to the recessed fairlead in the arb is that when not in use, your hook/thimble, and line are nicely protected. cons, are essentially what you're having to figure out right now.
