Did my 30K maintenance; Oil and filter, fluids in trans, xfer case, front and rear diffs, engine and cabin air filters, rotated tires, greased propeller shafts.
Was really easy except for the fact that I couldn't seem to do anything without spilling oil - knock a bottle over, overfill a funnel faster than it can drain, transfer pump tube slipping out and dribbling all over . . . klutz day for sure!
    :annoyed:
At least I got it all done today.

I just installed the WTs and the fit was terrible. The front driver side makes severe contact with the window when closed and the flanges on both rears don't seat far enough in for the tape to make contact, plus they look crooked when viewed from afar. Too bad, since I loved having these on my 4R. They will be removed and returned.

Just placed an order for a BAMF tail gate antenna mount. Then about 30 seconds later I ordered a passenger side relentless hood mount to complete my pair. :D Now to go look for some ditch lights :typing:

Yerp. Only thing is that in the direct sun they look faded maybe? Idk what it is but they look like a weird color sometimes.

I don't know....sun hasn't been out since I put them on over a week ago...lol. But on cloudy days, they look like the same color and shade as my AVS bug deflector on the front.

So far so good. I put it on last night when it was only 60* and it wasn't too bad. I like the fact that it buttons the whole way around instead of just three sides. I really wanted a tri-fold but for $40 I'll take this one!

Steering wheel is starting to get a lil' slick. Didn't want to spend the money on a Wheelskins cover when you basically have to make sure you wash your hands every time you come in contact with the cover. So I pulled out my spool of P-Cord and just did a simple wrap. I may go back and do a spiral hitch instead. For now, this works-hands don't slip and the wheel has a bit beefier feel to it.

I've been procrastinating since I decided not to buy a cover. Finally, just took care of it since I had the time. Was getting tired of the slick feel.

Hmm, actually I need to do this just across the silver plastic spokes at the bottom of the wheel. When I bought my 2015, I noticed I did not like this interupted surface variation when steering with one hand. Coming from and 01 5-speed, I'm very accoustomed to one-handeed steering/brody steering on a wheel with a uniform surface, and my hand slipped on the plastic.

Got rear ended... What do you think.... totalled? Lady claimed brakes went out but also said she worked a double last night so I think she fell asleep. She hit the truck behind me so hard that he was pushed from a stop into me causing the damage you see below. 38fe3be213965e281e8255b3f893007a_e1e0c1c50447c88a4cf7016821ba29f36d1595a3.jpgb05282f0f6ed42a801e529ab06921bc6_ee930c5e68f6e9186322ef468bf72db2e11c16ad.jpg0d875108952b6c2568883e2bc683df86_fc82b72ad13c33f96b48bbec56777f4099527fec.jpge21cfa028e1d29495d247a85500caebf_3d3f3b1df8551d837e0b02354ca8afd02e5a77ef.jpgbcf88a458401410a64df51e7b5ad1061_92fccaa0cec0e3b7fe08ca08976f5e89bbad5bf9.jpg1fbc412b812be78b976e8ac41e9aa760_3edfb5de773810f551df13794aaf0354c2cf85fd.jpg

Doubt that it will be totaled. They'll probably just straighten out the frame.
