Hello, I have a 2015 tacoma and and iphone 6. I can receive a text, however, when i send a quick reply to it the car shows an error has occurred and the text cant be sent. The dealer said that I need to allow notifications in text messages on my phone, however, i'm not quite sure what he means. Any thoughts? Is this a apple/mac thing or a toyota thing?? Any suggestion would help.

I have a mid 2010 macbook pro. A couple weeks ago my apple bluetooth keyboard stop working and the computer says "Bluetooth: Not Available". I tried the 2 resets that are stated a few posts up, they did nothing for me. Anyone got a fix?

@S.B. try deleting "com.apple.bluetooth.plist", located in Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences, and then restarting the computer.

I can move that file to the trash, but it wont let me "empty the trash".

As long as it's in the trash, when you restart it should not pull that file for preferences, so that should be ok.

I'm literally about to smash my macbook and go buy a google chrome book.
All I want to do is update my stupid laptop to 10.10.3 from 10.10.2 since iPhoto is now unavailable, and I need some new app that Apple made just to load pics from my damn iphone to the computer. Can't just plug in a cord it seems.
Issue being, I go to the update screen and it just sits there for over an hour saying, "checking for updates."
I've even let the terminal search for updates for 30minutes without an answer.

My computer illiterate dad can get on the internet and load up pics fine, which is all I need to do, with his chrome book. My macbook used to work great 3-4 years ago. Seems these last two new OS's have killed not only my mac, but the ease of owning a mac.

So I jail broke my iPad that's in my truck last night so I could turn the stock music player black. It's been a long time since I jail broke and I device. We're talking 3GS era. How the hell do I do what I need to do. The white background kills my night vision even dimmed all the way down

Can't find the iPhone thread, but I downloaded 8.4 this afternoon (the Apple Music update) and it finally fixed my Touch ID feature, which was killed with the 8.3 update and went totally unresponsive to touch.

    So glad it's fixed.

Just found this thread, and I am hoping someone can help me.

I will be starting college at the end of August, and as it seems with everyone, I will be in the market for a new computer. I currently use a 2009 MBP with 2.53 GHz Intel Core Duo equipped with 4GB of RAM. I have never gotten a new computer for myself, always handed down when parents got something new. I do a good bit of movie editing using Final Cut Pro X, document creation in Microsoft Office, iTunes/iPhoto usage, as well as streaming HD content. At school, I will be using an external display. I am looking at the new 13" MBP's and I don't know if it would be better for me to get upgraded CPU or upgraded RAM. I cannot afford to get both, and from what I understand the new computers have the RAM soldered in, so it is not upgradable. I am between the 3.1 GHZ Dual Core i7 (turbo boost to 3.4GHz), and 16 GB of RAM (stock is 8GB).

If anyone can help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Apple Geniuses!

I'm getting faint "ghosting" of the clock, battery percentage and other screen images on my phone, restarts don't seem to help? Any idea what's causing this? It started a few days ago.

Also starting today every now and then my screen will dim down and not accept touch input, if I put the phone to sleep it works fine.

Update on me. I ended up ordering the 13" RMBP with 512GB flash storage, 2.9 GHz i5 and 16G RAM. I figured I would notice the boost in RAM more often than I would notice a marginal increase in CPU speed. Oh, and they included a free pair of Beats Solo 2 headphones. $200 value! Sweet!

Having the similar option when the 5 came out, I went cheap. Only to find out alot of apps were updated abd retarded slow on the cheaper phone. Recommend going with 5s or 6 if not wanting the newest phone.

We saw a similar problem here this weekend and our resolution was to upgrade the computer to El Capitan and the mobile devices that sync to it to 9.0.2.
