    Mike,

    You seem to be getting the same results I am. If you get a chance would you mind driving around a little bit with the ECT on as well. I'm curious if you see the same improvements. Btw, how many miles do you have on yours now? I think you've had yours longer than anyone here.

    If you reset the trip, it will show the trip summary when you turn the truck off.

    Don't forget that these numbers are based on a certain type of fuel, GASOLINE. When you factor in ethanol blends, etc the fuel is less efficient and you will lose MPG.

    For ethanol free gas check the following site for locations in the US and Canada;

    I have a 2013 MT and this thread is the one I've been watching most intently and to a bit disappointing. I'm getting 19mpg when I don't drive like a-hole and the stick is supposed to get worse mileage. AND I have larger more aggressive AT tires doing this. These gains are so minuscule... On stock tired mostly. Toyota dropped the ball on this truck. Mileage gains not what they should have been and they should have rethought that bulbous nose/overhang that kills approach angle compared to 2nd gen. I love all the amenities and appointments, but shit for that much $$$ it should have class-leading mpg and not leave any OR performance on the table. The crawl control stuff looks ok but when your nose is hung up on a rock it won't matter. Plus barely-improved gas mileage to the trail.

    Yep, most of the TRD sport owners are posting 22-23 MPG....especially 4x2

    I find it hard to believe an air dam can account for 3-4 MPG. If so, I'll be ordering one and putting it on my OR. :)

    Are you adjusting your calculations based on your larger than stock tires size?

    Have any of you verified vehicle odometer vs. GPS?

    Odometer is right on the mark.

    Also, this is truck and not a Prius. If I was worried about a 2-5 mpg difference, I would be buying something else.

    Driving to my destination is shown in the 1st pic with ETC on. 2nd pic shows driving home with ETC off.
    One thing to consider is I had a pretty good heard wind on the way home. It down shifted more than usual on this stretch of freeway.

    70-80 most of the way.

    Then adjust up by 3-4% for your change in tire size.

    So is the trd or odometer calibrated for 265/70/16? And can you change tire size on the drivers display?

    OMG, another generation of useless mileage discussion threads that fail to account for myriad variables and go round and round chasing their tails.

    Looking back now, it seems so inevitable....
