Working on cutting down factory mudflaps. All done. 5 inches off the front and 4 off the back. Now working on installing racers tape which is transparent for under the flaps to protect paint.

Yes, I have been a long long time Toyota owner. My longest ownership of a Toyota truck was my 1998 Tacoma until the recall. The truck had 173000miles never had nothing wrong with engine or transmission.

Hey Rus TRD, what is this racers tape you speak of? Sounds interesting.

This is the first time I'm trying this tape. I was looking for some kind of clear tape that husky mud flaps put under there flaps to protect your paint on your truck. That's one of the reason's I cut down my mud flaps because when they rub against stuff it where's your paint away. I did three of my flaps so far. I need to finish the other one. Find tape.com 2x30 roll was $42.00. This was the cheapest place to find. Higher price on Amazon.

No problem, your welcome. Also I did speak to someone at this place about this and he said it is used a lot on vehicles. I did a test with it and I pulled it off the paint with no problem. I'm Don.
