My Toyota dealer is saying they aren't allowing the $750 College Grad incentive on the 2016 Tacomas yet. Anyone having a different experience?

I'm waiting to see more info on interior options. Somebody posted up one that has red door panels. I'm curious to know if they have more color options for those other than that and the brown and also if they offer more colors than just red for the bezel around the dash.

no, only reason this list is available is cause I made it for myself doing research on the 2016 (replacing the warden's 2012) and decided to share it.

otherwise you can use kbb.com or Edmunds since that is an established lineup.

the 2016 info wasn't on kbb.com/Edmunds.com and its still spotty on kbb.com and Edmunds is completely empty.

funny fact, I was told by my dealer, they used my list to help someone order a Tacoma since the list is compact and easier to read than the allocation page.

Went to start discussions with my local dealer for an SR5 4X4 DCSB and took NoDak's list. They were surprised at the info, but stated that their invoice was $900 more than what the list says it should be. They refused to show me where my numbers were wrong though...

Anyhow, they said the Tonneau cover "was not available"

I am in eastern PA and I'll post any follow up conversations/meetings I may have with them.

Looking at a GMC Canyon later this week.

The 900 is some 500$ TCA or something that toyota charges dealers and the 400 is probably the admin fee. That's what my dealer showed me on paper and the math worked out. Not sure if this is the same but that's what it may be.

A local dealer here in MA said his invoice is $700 higher than listed here. I was trying to negotiate a deal for the invoice for the configuration I want. I wonder if the reason for it is a regional fee TrueCar is showing.

I got him to knock off $200, so in theory it brings it under his "invoice", but then it could have been BS. And then there is a BS $300 doc fee he does not want to remove.

As it stands right now I am $800 over the invoice incl. the bullshit doc fee. I'll be working on him...

800 over invoice isn't bad at this stage in the roll out of the truck.

Hold out if you want but know that they don't have to budge; there will be other buyers if you say no thanks

Yea that TDA can eat a dick. No way I'm paying $677 for their advertising. Other than that the invoice numbers match up

each regional can charge more toward the dealer than what Toyota will invoice the regional. as has been proven, even my region is charging more for some options higher than Toyota but below MSRP.

More to it than what I thought. I guess I just need my dealer to show me the printout of their cost, and then I will feel confortable about where to start the negotiations. If they won't show me, I guess I'll just drive to another dealer.
    Thanks again.

Would it be possible to order a SR base model in Access cab with the V6 engine and 5/6 speed manual?

Lame, I like the simpler trim color of the SR but the 2.7l engine is barely more powerful than my Toyota Camry engine.

The SR 4x4 Double Cab V6 is the best bang for your buck imo. Especially when you add the SR Convienence Package and those sweet SR only alloy wheels.

But if you want a manual v6, you need to go with a TRD package...which is stupid.

If I'm paying 33k+ for a truck, you bet your ass it's going to be a fullsize.

Truecar shows $1074 in regional fees for my zip of 28607. As I've seen multiple opinions posted, is their a consensus on whether this regional fee is real/accurate? It does seem to vary considerably depending on location.

Trying to determine how good a current dealer offer is...
