There is no better feeling than owning every minute of every day to do with what you choose and every dollar that comes in, the same.........Been three years for me and I am two years away from 62.

Yeah I bought the Corvette's when i retired.... Crossed them off my bucket list..... settled on a MX-5 for my toy....sold my bikes after 35 years of riding because I want to stay in one piece and it was getting harder and harder with distracted drivers....Hell the bike had NAV and BT!!

So now I go back to my roots. My fav vehicle of all I ever owned was the Toyota Tacoma and 4 Runner. I will take one or the other to the grave, I will keep the roadster until I cannot get in and out of it anymore. My wife loves her CRV.

I have no desire to be 25 again.....Been there done that...but no one says I can't act like it......hee hee

It's none of the above. It should be Center of Mass but it wants Center of Gravity. Center of Gravity only exists between two bodies; the crane is only one body

Didn't buy a Corvette, but had a bike till a 55. Did touring (goldwings). Decided after so many miles and no real accidents, the law of averages was sneaking up on me.

Retired when I was 53 (30 years wildland fire for a federal agency). Looking forward to getting a new Tacoma. Sold the 06 just a bit ago. Miss it already.

I had to think about that for a while and now I can tell you exactly why that shot at 0:30 of the hand engaging 4WD by turning a plastic dial is the gheyest thing ever:

    1. it's a complicated solution to non-existent problems. An automated transfer case is more expensive and more complex, yet less reliable than a lever-operated transfer case.

    2. The more physical tasks disappear, the more likely we become obese helpless human larvae like the people in Wall-E. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohcwksrvDOg

    I bought my 2015 at 25...

Then again, I'd already been in my career for about 3 years, owned 2 cars, and a house. Most 25 year old guys haven't even picked a career yet.

I agree...I priced out one with the same options as my 2015 and the difference in MSRP was about $500. That basically no different. Everyone is assuming these trucks are wildly expensive. If they are, its dealer mark-up, which I would never pay.

If you're depending on moving a lever for exercise you are beyond help. And I suspect it's as reliable as the wiper switch. Maybe better than having some wanker yanking on a lever with undue force.

Sometimes I wish I had done that too lol. I jumped right into my career out of college...it would have been fun to do some sort of epic road trip before settling in.

IF the competitors win the mid size segment, I think it would only last a few years. Sure, the Colorado had more features than my 2015...but I'm sure my Tacoma will outlast that truck by a long, long time. I think time will show the same. The only GM engine and drivetrain I trust are their V8 options. Anything else, I'll pass.
