Good stuff. Perfect outside on a chilly night by the firepit.
Highland has been around for 20 years - well before the microbrew craze. One of the forefathers of NC breweries. Now there's 130 or so.

Was at the Starr Hill tap room today for those of you familiar with it. I had grapefruit and habanero king of hop. both were really good. I was surprised with the habanero. It was spicy going down but not so much on the tongue. I probably couldn't drink a bunch of it but it wasn't bad. The grapefruit king of hop was great though. I got a growler filled and would buy it if they sold it in stores.

Oro Negro from Jackie O's. Imperial stout brewed with walnuts aged on cacao nibs, vanilla beans, oak, cinnamon and habaneros. This beer certainly has a lot going on but it actually works and is delicious.
