    Hi TW,

Recently got a pair of Used Walker Evans (WE) 2.0 non-res rear shocks Part# 500-00-275 for a really good deal.

I understand these are for approx. 1.5" of rear lift, which should be fine for my current AAL setup, and will hopefully be a good replacement for my stock rear end until I can afford something like the 63 Swap.

Im looking at doing the rebuild myself, and understand WE does not publish any files for the rebuild, but have been told its similar to fox (I am more familiar with MTB suspension).

My concern is, on one of the shocks, the schrader vale was broken on hit setup (See picture, left shock), and the shock now leeks from this fill port. I will be replacing the valve as it is broken, but am concerned about potential leekage from this later. Does anyone have any suggestions on something to put on this to make sure it is a tight seal? I was thinking Teflon tape potentially?

    Thanks

    Matt
