I just bought a used Toyota pickup and the lock cylinder is broke, I don't like starting it with a screw driver so I ordered one on Amazon that was a guaranteed fit, but it did not fit. I did notice that the pin that clicks and holds the cylinder in is located at a different spot than the new one. But on every website I look at they are different from the one I took out of my truck. If anyone knows the Oem part # for the old ignition lock cylinder please let me know

    Thanks

    Try this:

    http://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/

if the link doesnt work, google camelback toyota parts.

They have diagrams with part numbers called out.

I just looked up toyota truck 1988 under the "select your vehicle" and they have your truck in the database

No, It is $90 so i think I am taking the start button route. Would rather pay like $5 for a switch and button instead. But the picture is identical with the original.
