    A 3" lift and 285s on a Taco isn't unique. Its a cliche.

It's pretty much the standard OR setup. Just like 315's are "normal" now on jeeps.

A much better setup for that with a Taco is 2" of lift with 255s fit a 33" tire. But 3" looks cool and 285s add "stance."

Does it matter? The point being is its my truck is unique to me, well at least in my area. This forum is filled with less than desirable know it all people lately. Yes 285's on 3'' lifts are the standard around here and for good reason. Would you prefer I slammed it to impress you and suffice for qualifying as "unique" in your book.

Since lifts are mass produced these days, there really is no "unique." What separates and makes trucks unique are the little things like wheel tire combo, lights, decals, and trim pieces-like the guy on here who 3m vinyl wrapped his door pieces. Even different color options on things.

I'd take it back and have them switch the lift. Get yourself a set of aftermarket UCA's and have them installed by a reputable shop and re-check the wheels tightness like others have said.

    Just my $.02

I'm another bandwagon person with a 3" OME and 285/75r16 tires (Wrangler Duratracs, looks awesome!) and black wheels and plastidip and a bull bar and and and...

AND you know what? I don't care. It looks badass and I feel good driving it. I'm lucky so far in that I haven't noticed any real change to the ride quality or handling. I am still planning on buying Total Chaos UCAs once my bank account fills back up  but for now I'm happy with the ride. And having a coworker who drives a jeep with 35" tires tell me my Taco looks badass..well, it feels damn good!

First the OP bought the truck that way. Second, people mod to make it theirs, to make it different, and to fit there needs. I changed my truck to make it mine.

You totally miss the point of modding if you think it's to make a more powerful truck. Hell a factory full size won't do things a modded Tacoma can.

I am with you guys. So many around these parts ruin a perfectly good looking and driving truck to look cool, or so they think. I laugh at these trucks driving down the road with their tires sticking way out past the fender flares, it just looks silly. People actually pay to stick out the tires, crazy.

These trucks come from the factory pretty darn perfect, especially if you purchased a 4x4. I just don't understand 6" lifts and 285 tires on these trucks. Why kill mpg's to look cool, it feels like high school all over again.

Great you all like a stock truck. Some like it modded. Who cares. Let's see if someone has something useful that will help OP out.

Hey OP when dealer put on Readylift did they put stock shocks back on? Might be helpful to post picks of lift they took off and what is on the truck.

Not sure why you'd buy a Tacoma unless you plan to mod it to be honest.
