Factory ordered my Speedway Blue in 2011. The dealer had every other colour in stock. After my Electric Lime Green Jeep Rubicon the Speedway Blue seems subdued.

Here in the northeast in 2012, I couldn't buy a nautical blue Prerunner in 2wd with a 4 banger. In their infinite wisdom, Toyota decided that no one in the NE could have one. "You want it, you got it, Toyo......uh, never mind". I ended up doing a national search on the net and found a 2013 model in South Carolina. Get this: with the cost of a one way flight it was $1500 cheaper than the 2012!! 4wd model my local dealer wanted to sell me. Pays to use the Internet!

Got what I wanted, MGM. Would have settled for something different, the right deal just happened to be what my preference was.

Wanted either MGM or Blue Ribbon Metallic . Ended up with Super White. The $4k price difference being the driving factor. If I had to do it all over.....Barcelona Red.

Waited 7 weeks in March of 2012 for my Nautical Blue '12 AC SR5 V6 AT 4X4. All these parameters were mandatory including the color. Delivered to my dealer with 10 km on the clock. Now 43 months later without the slightest problem - nothing but happy !!

Once you go black....you spend all your time looking at scratches and washing your truck. Still love it.

Looked for 6months for a silver 05-09 low milage, an 4.0 manual 6 speed, Xtracab. Got everything but the color. Ended up with the Brilliant metallic blue?

Unless I'm ordering a truck from the factory, color isn't even a factor for me.

I went in looking for a barebones '15 back in July, and they had one reasonable one left. All the other ones were TRO Pro Super Duper Duty wipe-your-ass-for-you marked up to the hilt. So I picked up the bare bones one.

MGM for me. Wasn't looking for it specifically, but I love the color. It's subdued, and very much my style. :) Super happy with it!

Looking back, superwhite is a pretty sexy color, and just reminds me of Toyota more than any other color for some reason.

Did you buy that in June?
My dealer tried to secure that truck but because I slept on the final decision it was taken just an hour prior to the request.
I ended up going with a dealer driver 400 miles to get in my super white with 3 miles the next day.
Glad I didn't let them put any miles on it, the driver hit the passing gear a dozen times (4500 on a new motor, mine hasn't hit 4500 yet) on the way and stopped for CHICKEN GIZZARDS for lunch and smeared chicken grease all over the stereo / dash.
White was my second choice but I'm glad it went that way because I love every detail as if the stock look was custom for me.
My third Toyota my first Tacoma and one of the happiest days of my life.

No I got it at the end of August, there were 3 showing but none of the dealers wanted to give them up, but thankfully 1 of them finally did.

Wanted Magnetic Gray but I'm a high schooler struggling to pay off his truck, so I settled for the best deal I could find which was a super white.

image.jpg I had decided that I was going to buy a base Prerunner, so that meant black flares and bumpers. I think they look best on the black truck, although MGM is a close second. Dealer had the exact truck I wanted in black, so black it was. The only thing I don't like about the base model is the "argent" colored grill she'll, so I recently had mine painted. Although I don't hate the stock steelers, a nice set of wheels would provide the finishing touch.
