I got a f'n clunk in the frontend! I cannot figure out what it is. Just had the truck aligned a few days ago. It rears itself on the backside of speed bumps.

Check the UCA to spindle bolt and everything else

 

I visually checked it. the cotter pin is still in from whn I torqued it. Ill check again. Nothing else was changed

 

Cotter pin? Didn't you swap your uppers?
Also new ubolts flex and pop. They need to be checked.
Can you feel it in the floor?

 

Found my brother in law an '07 ford ranger for $6k with just under 53k. It's got some cosmetic problems (missing the rear bumper and tailgate from backing into a pole) and a lot of mud caked-on in the under carriage and engine bay from the guys grandson mudding a 2WD ranger during a monsoon. After a good tune up and washing it should be a pretty good steal...I hope. Anybody know a good trick to power wash the mud in the engine bay?

No change in anything but the front coilovers. I can feel it in the floor and hear it in the dash. I only lifted 2" and its aligned within specs. At first I thought it was excessive toe but that has been corrected. The rear is quite as a church mouse. Ill be re-torquing everything this friday. Ill have about 650 miles on it since it was done.

Yeah check lower ball joints. I had pops once and it was my lower ball joint not torqued enough

Thanks it's not easy going home and she not there to greet you. I've cried so much I have nothing left when I find her toys in the house and yard I get sad.
