I'm not a fan at all of a hood scoop on a truck.

I had to vote for the Sport mainly because the OR is not available with a manual and a long bed. Plus the Sport has a fully functional ram-air cowl-induction shaker hood scoop that adds major horsepower!

Voted and ordered a Sport. Here's why: my truck will probably never actually see "off road" other than maybe driving around a pasture, so I can't see me getting a truck with less fuel economy, unpainted parts, and less options just so I can have an off road decal on the side of it. If I wanted to truly start off roading, I'll buy an older truck or a 70's FJ40 that I don't care about scratching, but it's not going to happen in a new and near $40K truck. Just my own opinion, obviously.

The Sport and the Off Road have the same gas mileage. You must have bought a 2 wheel drive

No, I ordered a 4x4. I saw in a review that there was a slight difference because of the air dam but the guy doing the review must have been wrong; I just checked the specs on Toyota's website and you're correct - they are showing the same. Fuel economy wasn't a major deciding factor for me anyway; I mainly just like the looks of the Sport better and really have no use for the off road features.

Seems pretty black and white to me. I think Off Road is obviously for anyone off-roading (Daaahhhh) and sport if your going to only do a occasional dirt road. Pretty simple and dumb post! I will try start a new dumb post.. LOL.
