Annoying clunk in my front end

    It isn't the sway bar. I took that out this evening and the clunk is still there. Been pretty busy with work but I'll try to check the other areas you guys suggested within the next day or two.

    If it helps any, the lift came with its own cross member. I cut a spot in the existing cross member so the front drive line could travel through. The lift kit cross member bolts on to the existing one but drops down to give the front drive line the proper space. The cross member bolts seem tight though.

    Confirmed with my mechanic: he didn't even adjust the preload on the coilovers (he left the adjustment collars as they came shipped). That would explain why the allen screw that locks the collar in place is on the back end out of sight and inaccessible.

    I'm gonna bridge the 2.5 inches (of threads showing above the collar) by half. Taking off the sway bar made the clunk worse so I bet the excess preload is my problem. I'll report back and let ya'll know if that fixes it.
