    :deadhorse:, I know...

There are so many threads on beating the system. I don't remember anyone trying to recalibrate to 0 psi.

I'm getting new tires on friday and was thinking if this works, I could just chuck them somewhere in the truck and never think about them again. Not interested in doing the pipe bomb method or tearing apart the dash. I can ignore the light - I have 3 sets of wheels I rotate throughout the year.

I know with Techstream you can set the pressure that'll activate the light. However, I don't know the low limit to that setting. This still doesn't prevent the light from coming on if the sensors are missing. The TPMS ecu looks for output from each sensor and if one is dead (or missing) it'll illuminate the light.

I don't know about your state, but here the TPMS light will get you a fail sticker for your inspection. That is the whole problem.

with how accurate the readings they give are in techstream (either 10th/s or 100th/s of a psi) id bet you could deflate tires to nothing, Set them, then simply throw them in storage somewhere on the truck .
