I just noticed that when i am on the Highway and when i switch lanes; stepping on the accelerator and using my turn signal the RPM move up & down with the blink of the turn signal, I also feel the acceleration with the rpm's like a bucking feeling.

When I got home I put the truck in park and turned the turn signal on and heard a clicking noise down by the Automatic shifter. After removing the shifter cover i saw the Shift lock solenoid moving in and out in-sink with the turn signal. when i step on the break the shift lock solenoid stopped.

Does anyone have any idea, this has me puzzled

@2004TacomaTRD - I have the exact same issue of when I "put the truck in park and turned the turn signal on, I hear a clicking noise down by the Automatic shifter. The Shift lock solenoid moving in and out in-sync with the turn signal." Did you ever figure out what this issue was and how to solve it! I'm really stuck and need to fix this. Thank you!

@StockLunarMist - Thank you. I do have a trailer hitch and the wires for that go under to a some sealed junction box that goes up to my left tail light. There doesn't appear anyway to open that box and there are no plugs to unplug it. Why would it do this only on the right turn signal and not the right? By the way, testing again - this issue only occurs when the ignition is turned to allow power or the engine is running AND I'm in park. Naturally the gear shift solenoid doesn't click in-sync with the right flasher when I'm in drive or have my foot on the break. If I unplug the entire right tail light assembly, the issue stops - but I'm not certain that would mean there is a short in that. The only way to test would be to replace it with another to see what happens. Very strange and I'm afraid I'm going to burn something up. I wish I could just go back to the old bulbs and relay, but that didn't work either anymore - so touching something caused this. Wondering if it could be a fuse somewhere?
