Question about VIN on 2016 double cab

    2017 Silver Double Cab Sport.
    I sold my 2010 sport double cab and ordered a 2016 sport double cab.
    The dealer provided me with a VIN for the new truck, however, the last portion of the VIN looks different then any other VIN that I've seen.

    Is this a temporary VIN, perhaps unique to the build date?

    3TMAZ5CN56M 33A386

    Originally, the truck was to be delivered on 10-19, however, it has been pushed back to 11-09.
    Edit: New delivery date 11-10

    Yes, its a placeholder VIN. Probably wont see the real VIN until it hits Port. And its a Baja VIN.
