So i purchased 2 6" LED bars and i'm wanting to mount them to my bed rack for reverse/anytime lights. I'm going to mount the bars to the back of the bed rack but i want them to be removable (Unplug-able) so when i take my bed rack off, the lights will go with it, but not my harness. If i feed the harness to the bed, what is the easiest solution to have a connector/plug i can do to split the wiring where i can remove the rack/lights when needed.

Care to get some pictures or maybe elaborate a little bit more. I have all the wiring done, lights mounted to the rack, and switch installed. Just not sure how to rig a quick release somewhere. Thanks for the response!

If I didn't already have this in my garage, I would have went with a connector like Glueman posted.

Awesome guys! Thanks a bunch. I think I'll grab some connectors like above! Thanks again!

You could go back 6-8" off the lights where they're mounted or wherever its out of view and then snip and put a quick disconnect for the lights. Pretty easy. I got some plugs off Amazon that worked for me when I installed them on my lights on my Prinsu.

It's in the cab. I placed all my switches in the sun glasses holder.

I know this post is old but if anyone is watching, can you post a link or pic of the connector? The old link is dead. Thanks.
