Ouch!!!!!!! I feel your pain. I did the exact same thing back in the day to a brand new (sticker still in the window) 1978 Z28 Camaro while I was styling for a young lady as she was walking across the parking lot of a McDonalds. Needless to say, she wasn't impressed. Nor was the young ladies boyfriend who was falling out of the drive up window laughing at me.......

Don't feel bad. My PS door was replaced after an argument with a flower pot (tall, but below sight line) in a tight turn in a commercial driveway. :anonymous:

Less than 10k on it at the time. And I rarely even nipped cones in hundreds of solo II passes, much less taking out cones.

Since the truck is white, just ordered a new door, painted it all up, transferred the guts/interior bits and hung it. Actually cheaper than trying to straighten or reskin the old one. Gave an 'it never happened' result.

No, I turned right into the lot. It was short and I didn't see it due to my lift. It bent the nfab step bar. I took a floor jack and lifted up under the bar to straighten it. I took the bars off and put rhino shine on them. Just waiting to put them back on after the bodywork.

Have I got a story to make her feel better!

I was changing the brakes on my '04 Dakota. Five speed, yep, out of gear and no E brake. Don't ask. Any way, as I was tightening the lug nuts, I gave it one last big oomph! The 'ol Dodge rolled down the driveway, backwards, over the mailbox and finally came to rest with the rear bumper buried deep into my neighbor's grill and radiator. It was a Tacoma of all things. Did $6500 damage to the Tacoma.
