exactly what I was about to post. a lot of people seem to not like them because of that but I like that they aren't soft rubbery. I like when you pull it out it stays they same so the dirt doesn't fall out.

Husky X-Act liners were my choice.

I don't have any real world experience yet but I ordered the Husky X-Acts yesterday for one main reason. They don't clip in to the OEM mat retainers. I find those frustrating when removing mats and trying to keep the sand on the mat and not the carpet. I knew I would get aggravated trying to remove the WTs.

My Husky X-Act liners use the OEM retainers on my 2014...

My WT liners in the front are fine -- nothing great, but they work fine. I bought Husky one piece mat for back seat and they are awesome - fit great. Only slight complaint is it is tough to clean between groves, but guess it means it is working as dirt gets caught in grooves and not the carpet. Next time I am getting Huskys for front since I liked the back so much.

Gotcha! From my understanding they're different on newer tacos. Could be wrong though. I hope what I ordered doesn't use them. Lol

Actually, mine fit so well and the "nubs" on the bottom of liners grip the carpet like crazy, the retainers aren't really needed....

I had a full set of Weathertechs in my 2012 4Runner, and they were great. Based on that experience, I ordered a front and back set for my Tacoma. The fit in the Tacoma is not quite as nice as it was in the 4Runner. There is a gap on both front floor mats near the door area, but I've never had any issues with debris, water, etc. getting behind the mats. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

I have weather techs and have never experienced the problems others seem to be having with there's.
I have had mine since last Dec. and they fit very well. I almost feel like I have been blessed by the Pope or something. No gaps, no warps and cleans up good.

    Husky hands down!

I think they fit better and are made of a better material, in my opinion.

had the weathertech in all my previous vehicles, so i planned on buying them for my 2015. got a work vehicle with the husky mats, and they are much softer (ie less slippery) so i bought a set of husky exact fit for my taco. very happy with the purchase!

Husky X-act Contour without a doubt. I have had both and Husky is softer so more comfy on feet and not slick and hard like the Weathertech. Fit seems to be better to me as well.

Girlfriend followed through and got me the Husky X-act contour for my birthday... Put them in last night and they are awesome. The soft material theyre made of is great, much better than a harder more rigid plastic. Fit is great and the anchors to hold them in place are a neat system. Thanks to all for the input!

I just bought the Husky Front Mats yesterday, I too like the material and they also have no rubbery smell to them, now I need some rear mats, lol

I just plan to use the OEM toyota mats in the back... I leave my rear seats folded down most of the time so it would be nice to find something to go over the top of those.

I ordered the husky xact contour liners on monday. The reason I went with husky and not weather tech is because the husky xact contours have a ridge by the door jam that stops water from going over the edge of the mat and onto the carpet. Not sure about the weather techs but it looked like in pictures that they were angle right onto the carpet by the door jam. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I havent seen either in person ,I'm just going by pictures
