But our park is shit here too. No fault of the guys that are in charge of it. They do a pretty good job staying on top of it. But the management tell them how big to build the jumps (which are small) so every person thinks they can hit them and just fucks up the landings take offs etc then just sit in the way. They need to make the bigger and more intimidating so first timers dont try hitting them. That was the practice we did at hood and same at timberline on the Burton park

see.. I always thought Sunrise' park was terrible. icy, nothing cool, nobody there to upkeep it, etc.

Flags park is at least ran by people who enjoy it. young guys who ride the park. and is usually pretty awesome.

Park and natural jibs is really all I ride. never liked back country or deep powder.

Yeah about 2 years ago they hired riders to actually take care of it and it has improved. I like my jumps in the back country and natural rails (when you can find them that is) but I still enjoy the park now and again but I wont sit and hike it all day like others will. I enjoy finding those natural jumps

nice. I will have to come up and check it out again. yeah, I used to hike the park.. not anymore. I'll hit it as I do my runs.

would get discounts on tickets, hung out at the lodge afterwards, shorter waits, etc.

    so down man!

This year should be pretty stellar at Big Bear and whatnot with El Nino is coming down. Last time El Nino came around while living in So cal, it snowed like a mug last i remember. Plows couldnt keep up one Christmas.
