I don't mind letting it go. Just hit me up when you get your truck.

I didn't notice any significant changes with it removed. Granted the only time I had it on was the 10 miles from the dealer to my house. As for fuel economy, I am only on my 2nd tank of gas and I am on 285's now so obviously a stock truck will get better mileage. Still better than my 2012 though

If you remove the Air Damn you will regret it.... The air damn is critical for optimum performance. Ever since I took mine off I have noticed more women looking at me with hungry eyes. It is intimidating. Also my mpg is sucky.

    None,
Call me vane, I love the look with out the Air Dam or in Canada the Tacoma snow plow. Not concerned about the mileage with the 2.7 l 5 spd combination.

If only there were a way to attach it with quick release fasteners...

I'm actually thinking about measuring out & throwing together a small bed rail bracket set for it, using some scrap aluminum I have. That way I can use the dam on road, then when it's time to have some fun pull it off and mount it in the bed. It honestly doesn't take that long to remove and install anyways.

Having studied aero on lots of cars before my taco & having seen the lengths people (and manufacturers) go to putting spats to cover even fractional extra bits of tire, I can say that any extra % of tire front profile coverage is worth it. Especially since I have a 4 cylinder, I'm looking for every little fractional advantage.

I agree that the Taco looks way better without it though. It's also pretty obviously limiting approach angle and front clearance.

So an afternoon measuring & using a bending jig might just make for a neat little storage solution. I've got little to lose, my scrap is free & just collecting dust.

IMG_0945.jpg It's a MICTUNING 32" Inch 180W COMBO Spot flood beam LED Light Bar - 13200 Lumen. Rated well for an economically priced CREE light bar. I did not use the mounts that come with the light bar. Instead I got "Caliraised" mounts. These bolt right to the bumper and require no drilling.hth

The skid plate looks so much better than the air dam!

I see you installed a passenger as well. Have you noticed any change in ride quality or MPG?
