Just go down to the dealer and ask the service advisors if one of their techs can verify your current ecu calibration

I can do that but what exactly should I be asking? They should be checking before even opening the SC box!

If they are doing the install then let them worry about checking the ecu. Not your problem haha

Wait wait wait... So your telling me that if I had the TSB for the "spark knock" that even if I wasn't poverty stricken and could afford a TRD super charger they wouldn't be able to install it because they wouldn't be able to flash my ECU?

Well that's probably the dumbest thing I've heard all week. I have no idea why they would do that.

I suppose a Super charger is out of the question then until URD releases the UCON for the 09+.

My Ram isn't on the bump stops at maximum load, but if I go past it I'll likely snap the rear end .

Bumpstops aren't a good determination of maximum weight IMHO, though the lack of payload on the Tacoma is fairly comical.

Ford is about the closest I've seen to perfect. Usually it'll just touch the stops at max load. Then again I've never seen the Tundra at max payload to be frank.

Well, we can all agree that payload isn't what it should be, but what alot of people don't think about is all the crap they have in the cab, including themselves, add's up pretty quick. With me and all my crap in the truck, I'd say 300 lbs easily...add this, what, 200 lb camper shell, and I was bouncing bump stops if i hit a bump to fast. Granted, I should have been able to have twice that, but still. Even with my wheelers add a leaf, I hit a dip at some train tracks that had my rear end banging hard, and I think I hit it going about 25ish. Bottom line is, the rear suspension blows a fat one.

I'm sure many would be interested. List a price and post a picture of the actual item (not a stock photo) if selling, per forum rules. With the SC return to production by year end they won't command the prices they did a month ago.
