    Picked up 15lbs of crawfish for a low country boil for the UT/UGA game tomorrow. This is always a big game for me since I'm a UGA fan in UT country.

    Has the school itself been impacted by actual damage or just the area. Outside of being the right thing to do from a moral standpoint I don't see where a school should be expected to finance the devastation. If that were the case you could say this for regions impacted by hurricanes, tornados, noreasters etc... I am not down playing the flood by any means. I can see LSU doing this for obvious reasons but other than that....

    He's gonna toss a few inches of his D down their throats pretty soon.

    This isn't a case of LSU being altruistic here. The revenue from the game would go to sCar under normal circumstances. LSU isn't making a donation here. Some extra hospitality is cool but let's not act like they are just tossing money at sCar

    I get that you don't understand southern hospitality, and the way the south works. If I were the president of Alabama, or involved in any way, I would be working on sending whatever help I could.

    If you look back into the tragedies of the past, Alabama and Auburn have been big proponents of "rebuilding" after devastation. Clean up don't by players, and monies sent to replace foliage.

    We hate each other on game day, but have nothing but love otherwise.

    Actually it is. Who's paying for all the workers on game day? Who's paying for that light bill? Who's chartering a plane for 100+ people? Not to mention they're rushing to get all their resources together to even be able to play the game in Baton Rouge.

    All ticket revenue is going straight to South Carolina. LSU also said that they will even be making an additional donation later.

    Our boys didn't quit last week. They were out played by the #4 team in the country. Go back and watch again. Throw out the first quarter and it was a fairly close game.
