Any MLB fans here???

No sense in arguing with Giants fans. Ones that actually followed the team before 2010 are few and far between. They've been plagued by the same undesirable, arrogant attitude that fell upon Red Sox fans a decade ago.

 

I'm not even arguing with him anymore lol. He just keeps going and going. He's like a butthurt version of the energizer bunny.

Good lord Mattingly is an idiot. No way I take out the best pitcher in the league with bases loaded 1-0 and game on the line. No other person id want to replace Kershaw, other than Kershaw.

Also why the hell didn't he bunt over the one base hit they got? Guy struck out and next batter got a single. It's easy baseball Donny. Cmon.

 

As a longtime Giants fan I agree that a lot has changed since we won the World Series. Back in the mid 2000's we could buy tickets for 20 bucks and sit in the lower level. Now it costs about 40 bucks for nosebleeds. And the people that sit low now are usually there for the experience and aren't really fans at all. It pisses me off when I sit low now and a bunch of people decked out in giants gear are asking the most basic questions about baseball (like what does era mean). No doubt the franchise pumps cash but idk how many real fans are packing the stands.

I'm down with hard plays. But that was dirty as hell. I hope they dome Utley. He broke the dudes fibula. On the dirtiest play I've ever seen.

 

Late "slide" by Utley. Looked as though he was going in for the kill.

So, he made no contact with the bag during his slide, slid past the bag, and never touched the bag after the play. At a minimum he should have been out on the neighborhood play and the runner at first should have been out also since he made a dirty slide.

One thing I didn't remember is that Utley made a dirty slide on Tejada in 2010.

Suspend him or fine the piss out of him. There's no room for that garbage.
