I just wanna see if any 3rd gen owners have any buyer's remorse now or later down the road and what is the source of said buyer's remorse.

Its a shiny new toy, no one will likely have any. Maybe down the road if any issues peak up as they did with every gen early years. Time will tell, doubt anything major. Hopefully 5-6 years from now we will see some 100k mileage or more threads similar to previous gens with reliability.

I would bet on it, given toyotas track (or truck?) record. I don't know about you guys, but it always takes me time to "warm up" to a new vehicle, meaning I sort of get attached to my vehicles. Ive had good luck with my previous vehicles, and I always knew they would start and get me to where I was going. So getting into a new one, I always think "will this one be as good as my old one?" After putting some miles and memories on a new one, I am officially hooked! I've been driving my tacoma for a year and 4 months, and it literally hasn't missed a beat:)

Hey OP, how about changing the name of this thread to:
    "I didn't find ____ impressive"

I think people who bought the truck and found a feature in the new truck though was cool but found it mediocre instead.

They cam post it here instead of having another thread where people begin to eat each other alive.

That's easy. Let me start: The engine power, the transmission shift points/hunting for gears, the Kazoo sounding mirrors at highway speed, the lack of seat adjustment, the plastic bumpers, the weaksauce tires (especially on the OR), insignificant improvement in fuel economy, same size back seat, the 40k price........what else am I missing?

No I don't , bit have been eyeing them at my local dealer. It's funny even with the
steering wheel vibrations and shake issues I had to deal with on my 2012 and 2014
I'm drawn back to Toyota. I'm going to give the new 2016 some time to mature and
see if this issue raises again.

Tires on the OR are fuckin retarded. Whoever made that decision should be fired. Oh, and the fuel tank cover on the OR is fucking plastic. Like, what in the holy fuck. The "off-road" model with pussy ass tires and plastic fuel tank cover?

I'm not sure about the sport. I'd be really surprised and even more confused if they put a metal one on the sport and not the OR.

The remorse comes around the first payment.
Seems kinda cheap for a $40k truck
