I know a lot of guys on here are probably buying the V6, it definitely is an awesome engine but I got some info I thought I'd share for the 4 banger guys.

I contacted LCE and they said they are not sure if their 2TR header will fit the 2016 model. They are in the process of figuring that out and they should have that info out in about a month or two. I think the 2TR was a nice little engine, should be more fun with the header.

I emailed LCE about this very issue (no reply yet). Thanks for the info. The 2TR may really come alive now that it has variable valve timing on the exhaust. My gut feeing is this engine will start getting some love when people start driving them with manual transmissions. Same with the V6.

I drove both auto and manual just to see what they are like, even though my intention was to get the manual, and it's really nice. Its fun to drive and I love getting behind the wheel everytime with the gear box.

Thats why I'm waiting for it the header. I think it will make it even funner. It seems like it adds a good amount of low/mid torque so I'm curious as to how it will affect MPG as you wont need to rev as high in order to maintain a decent acceleration. I guess 450 a good amount of money, but I intent to drive this thing to the ground so I'm okay with spending 450 as it will be a long term investment in the truck.

I asked them if they were looking for a mule to test fit it to the 2016, and that if it didn't fit that they would allow a full refund with paid shipping. But they are already working on it and weren't looking for a test mule. Apparantly they are very busy right now so it's not priority one to get it test fitted.

regular vvti? Whats the unregular vvti? I'm new to the toyota world so I dont know a whole lot.

But what are you arguing here? That the header isn't worth the money? Would you say their site is missleading? It seems like a good amount of torque is gained in the low/mid area. I'm always weary of these graphs so I was going to do some research but it seems like you're familiar with this product. Would you say the gains are good or not? I don't care a whole lot about peak horse power.
