Bucket seats OUT, Bench seat IN

Hi there,

Just joined TW - been enjoying threads for a long time, lots of great answers - time to ask a first modification question.

I'd like to swap my bucket seats out of my 2006 tacoma regular cab. I got a bench seat out of a 2012 tacoma and it fits just fine. However, the seat belts and sensors are a total mismatch, I understand, due to their different locations. I've seen threads about swapping a bench seat for buckets seats but not the other way around. Has anyone done this before?

Trade you some bench seat seat belts and some cash for your buckets

 

Where are you located I might want to trade?

 

Central Illinois. A ways away but there's no place local that has a Tacoma in a salvage yard. I've been wanting to swap to buckets ever since I got the truck.

 

I've even got the mount for the center seat belt as well.
