    His statements leave him looking sensitive to the situation. At least on the surface. Perhaps Richards will release as calculated a response and escalate the drama. It is hard to imagine he will break down and concede he has emotional/addiction issues.
    Normally such 'candid' expression is reserved for a book.

    I love the fact that McDavid is on my team. And I know he'll be a major contributor to team's eventual success. But I also know it's going to take time for him to adjust - along with some of the other pieces in place.
    But you can simply thank Media Hype, for all the coverage. Even us Oilers fans are sick of it. The endless interviews, prior to the season starting. Asking the same asinine questions. Relentless pestering of the other players, and their thoughts on McDavid. All Media Hype.
    Just look at the Hype the Media has done with the jays, in baseball (a sport that puts me to sleep in mere minutes). Last week, you couldn't turn on a TV, or go to a Sports Website, without getting blasted with jays stuff. Then that changed after they lost a couple games. lol
