I haven't seen much about 1.5in spacers on a second gen so I thought I'd ask before I buy. I have a 12 sport with the stock 17in alloy wheels wrapped in 265/70/17 KO2's. Would the 1.5in spacers cause them to stick out too much?

No personal experience here, but I don't see why that's be a problem.

The owner of Bora which are similar I'm sure to the all pro ones told me to just check the torque on my 1.25" spacers on every tire rotation I do which is every 5k. I suggest you contact all pro for the same info if they don't send it with the spacers which I imagine they would.

Just to make sure I do not cause any undue consternation:

    Me:

    "Hello,

I purchased some BORA spacers for my 2008 6 lug Tacoma from someone on Tacomaworld.com. I bought some red loctite and I was wondering what some installation tips might be."

    Lenny:

    "Tony

We really don't recommend using loctite, no need

I know that a lot of guys do use it, but as long as you torque the open end lug nuts to the proper foot lbs, they won't back off or come loose.

    Lenny

    Me:

    "Lenny,

Thank you. I have a torque wrench ready to go. Does this mean that I don't have to check the torque on the open ended lug nuts after 5 miles, 50, or 100 miles? Thank you for the info. I'll be putting them on this week. Take care."

    Lenny:

"You should recheck the torque after the first 5 miles to make sure everything was mounted correctly."

Just do whatever you feel comfortable with OP. I would personally use loctite just because it's an extra layer of security for minimal cost and effort. That's just me though, and as we all know, different strokes for different folks.

I'll use loctite... I don't really see a reason not too. My concern was mostly just with how far the tires would stick out. I was wondering if there was a reason everyone made 1.25 in spacers and only one company I could find (although a quality one) made 1.5.
