I just installed the Go Rhino 5" OE Xtreme bars on mine. Fit perfect. What I liked about these is that some I looked at only used a single bolt to mount the front bracket to the vehicle. This one used 2 for each location. I got them in black composite.

Thank you very much for your reply. I am contemplating purchasing some predator style steps for my wife/family. I wouldn't really use the steps, but I am concerned with hitting the back of my leg every time I exit the vehicle. I often wear dress clothes for work. I don't want to buy them and have an issue.

At stock height you wont need them. Maybe for your little ones. My GF is 4 10'' and she can manage to get in my lifted 2015, even though the 2016 sits about an inch higher than a stock 15 they still are relatively low to the ground, most fullsizes will be higher though, my two cents is to avoid it, it will rust, snag your clothes as you mentioned and makes a stock truck look smaller since it hangs. But if so I would avoid the OEM stuff as its simply NFAB parts. Look on NFAB, etc. then cross reference ebay for a better price if you do go the step route.

Agreed that not really needed for in and out - actually need to step over it now. My purpose was more to prevent door dings and catch some of the stuff kicking up from the streets; although it will not stop it all.

It took a couple times in and out to get used to the position, but it's not in a bad spot after you get used to it. I dont need them to get in, but my wife will hopefully use them instead of doing the one cheek in and slide maneuver with the oh shit handle. I liked the look of these the most, and they really help when washing the top of the truck. I'll get some pics up soon. Im working 7 12s atm, and dont think about it when i get home... I need to hurry up and do this before the time change!

These are excellent bars. Is it just me or do they seem like they could be mounted a bit higher? Is this the way they look on 2nd gen or is it just the angle of the pic?

The mounts are the same for 2nd gen and 3rd gen. I took my factory installed Predator steps off of my 16 and mounted them on my 05. Perfect match

You get those Mud Flaps Stock? None of my dealers trucks have them. I want a set.

I ordered ProZ 6" Premium Ovals in black from AutoAnything. Same reasons Door dings and protection.

Yes, OEM Mud Flaps that came on the truck. The Go Rhino's might be low for some, but it also seems the OEM ones sit kind of high. They do not drop below the underbody clearance.
