I'm going to be installing some cheap ebay led backup lights on my rear bumper or tow bar and was wondering where a good place for the switch would be. I have a blank on my 2003 Limited Dbl cab above the clock by the vents and was wondering if this would be a good place for a DPDT OTRATTW rocker switch? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Why would you not just wire them to the existing back up light circuit?/

Unless you plan to use them as work lights with the truck parked.

I want to be able to turn the lights on independently of the reverse lights. They will also be connected to come on with the reverse lights. I'm thinking that the airbag switch location would be good if the switch will fit in that blank.
