I'm a complete newby when it comes to lifts. I've searched and am gaining an understanding of the different options but really know next to nothing. Right now the truck is a stock 2012 OR. The truck is a daily driver but I enjoy getting off road now and again but that's mainly forest service roads and moderate skill level trails. The truck has handled all of the above without a lift.

Saying that I'd like to raise it up about 2" and have the front and rear level. If I could go more I would but from what I've read 2" and above is when you start to compromise the ride quality. I want to continue to use 265/75/16's for now but may increase that a little when these tires wear out. I don't want to compromise the ride of the truck on pavement and if it could improve I'd be even happier. I want to do it right the first time but don't know what that entails. I'm fine spending 2k but that would probably need to include installation to.

I installed Bilstein 5100s with OME springs in the front and Deaver AAL's in the rear from Toytec and it rides better . Check the classifieds here for deals.
