Went to the Rutland Prison Camp in Rutland, MA. It's the site of an old prison that got shut down a long time ago. 2 of the building are still standing, the rest is mostly foundation and some walls

Get the ECGS bushing too. Chances are you'll have the vibe and you might as well do it while you're in there. It's a bit scary to do, but it beats having to redo the suspension after you've already ripped it apart.

Other than that the suspension is actually reasonably easy to do, especially if you've got air.

Do I need to worry about that with only 6k miles on the truck?

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I have over 100K on my truck and 70K + of that being lifted and I don't have any vibes

Would it be covered under the warranty, or would the lift void that?

Lift wont void it, but technically toyota doesnt have a fix for it. I think a few people on here have had toyota replace the bearing with the ecgs bushing but its rare. The bushing is the correct fix in the end though

I'm pretty tight with some people at Toyota, I could probably get them to use ecgs bushing if it becomes a problem

I only had 33K on my '13 and ran into it.

Yeah, I remember Billy telling me that it wasn't an issue with you. It does seem sporadic that it happens, although if you read the ECGS thread it seems like it's rampant.

Personally, I think it's a grey area. Yes, the issue can happen on an unlifted truck, but the lift will absolutely magnify the problem. The dealers I've used around here have given me so much flak for everything I've had done to my truck. I had a nasty seat rattle they wouldn't touch because of my tires and Route 44 deneid the suspension TSB because of my ARB even before I was lifted. Unless you are very good friends, IMHO the second you lift your truck you give up your suspension/driveline warranty. I wouldn't think it would affect a transmission/engine/transfer case, but axles/differential, I could see you running into headaches.

I had to pay for my axle seal leak because of my lift, but I didn't play dumb either and clean I hadn't been in there replacing things.

For the incremental time and cost to do the bushing, I don't think it's the worst idea in the world and it will absolutely prevent issues in the future. If by chance your truck is affected by the vibe, it will be every time you drive it and it will drive you nuts.

43k Miles on my unlifted truck and no vibes; though the road comes through quite harshly after I put E-rated 265/75 Duratracs on and sometimes that has a vibey feel on certain roads.

FINALLY got the suspension installed as well as the short throw shift kit. Truck rides like a DREAM and the short throw shifter should have came stock. What a difference

Did it lower the shifter height overall?

it doesn't feel like it did, but the throw has gotta be about half. it also feels like a smoother, and more sure shift
