    2013 Silver Tacoma Texas Edition
Hello everyone, I just bought my first Tacoma last year, a 2013 Texas Edition and love it so much that I bought my son an older 2004 Tacoma. The 2004 came with a 2013 Leer camper shell and my son doesn't want it so I'm putting it up for sale. I looked on Leer's website but can't find any prices. My question is this....does anyone here have a shell and if so what do they normally cost and what would be a fair price to ask? Thanks for any suggestions.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Shells vary widely in price, and of course are only available from cap dealers. Used caps loose value of course. You need to first identify tje model of shell and installed options.

My cap was pretty basic one but I did get it carpet lined and flip down and sliding front windows. I paid $800 for it installed (color matched, electrical wiring hookup, and foam strip sealant.

Thanks for the quick replies! That makes total sense I didn't think ahead to include the type. It's a Leer 100R 75K. It has sliding side windows. It is silver, so not sure it would be what you were looking for DustStorm4x4.

One more suggestion. Repost this in the Buy/Sell/Trade area of this site. You'll get more views and it's the appropriate place for this. I know, you need a price. Well I Googled your 100R Click Here and it appears to be about $1400 new, and more if you have any of these options (so for a 2013 used one I'd say about 1/2 of that would be a screaming deal) ...

So true. And intact looking at the pictures it is clearly a shell for a 1st GEN Tacoma.

Thanks mountainwolfpup. Still trying to learn to navigate this site...I'll get it down soon. Kyle, that is correct. I know these are made custom and this '13 shell was made for the '04 I just bought. I'm sure the dimensions vary and it will probably fit a few different years. I'm just in the infancy stagecof looking.

    Shouldn't it be 1995.5 to 2004?
