The time has come for me to replace my rear turn signal bulbs. I've tried many different types, all of which disappoint, and have been eyeing these for a while. Can't beat a two year warranty for the $35 price tag on these. But I'd like to see some output shots if anyone has them. I realize it's hard to capture output on camera so an honest opinion to go with the pic would be appreciated. I'm also considering some different lights of an smd/projector type from Amazon with lots of positive reviews. I might just end up ordering both for comparison purposes but want to see if anyone here has tried these yet. Only found a couple reviews on the morimotos so far.. if no one responds I'll just order them up and do a comparison between a couple others I have as well as a little review...

I've owned a pair for my 2013 about a month now and I enjoy them. They are plenty bright for turn signals. I do also like that the item itself is clear, so it makes he turn signal lens absolutely clear until in use. I also bought the switchbacks for the fronts and also very impressed. I was looking at V-LEDs prior but I believe you are paying for the name.

Sorry, I don't have any output shots of the lights unfortunately. I can try, but cannot guarantee anything.

How's the output during the daytime? Or even in direct sunlight like at dusk when the sun is facing directly into the housing? This is the problem I've had with all the led types I've tried and they are barely noticeable during the dusk hours or even midday. I want to be seen!! Lol. Only ones that seem to work best are the old halogen bulbs. Yet I've switched over everything to led and I need something BRIGHT for my turn signals. I see that the morimotos have a 'diffuser' or 'projector' on them, but it looks like it projects it outwards. The other ones I'm considering project light outwards through a projector, but also have leds on the SIDES that project light sideways to light up the reflector!
.. I have custom front signals and those are great, but there's no easy way to do them in the rear without retrofitting them into the housing by taking it apart. And I'm not ready to do another project yet.

I can only compare to the front signals I have and during the day, they are not near as bright as incadesents. Only at night is when you can really see the difference. During the day you can tell they are LEDs if that makes sense.

Update at least on the ck bulbs I have for my truck.

these are terrible bulbs. I just put these in a few months ago and a some of the LED's have burned out (one in the switchbacks and one in regular Amber). What makes it worse is I drive my truck twice a week (weekends) and rarely at night.

Just whoever buys these, proceed with caution.
