Welllll.... Not really the traditional "On Board Air" setup... I plan to do a true OBA setup soon for my Firestone Ride-Rite Airbag setup (parts are on order) so Ill post more pics when I get into that project.

This afternoon my low pressure idiot light came on and so I pulled the truck into the garage to check and fill the tires with air, turns out all of the tires were fine and the spare was low.. so naturally I had to flip the back seat and pull the jack handle out etc. (I have to say I completely forgot about the nice cubby hole under the seat!) after staring at it a minute, I remembered I had purchased one of the inexpensive HFT air compressors - ( ), so I figured what the heck, lets see how this thing works!

I pulled the box off the shelf and opened it up. I forgot how small that thing was, so I was dubious this would actually be that effective. But low and behold that little compressor worked pretty well! took about 5 mins to fill from 30 psi to 40 psi. (yes I know not real fast...)

after I was done and buttoned all of the parts back together raised the tire up etc. I thought hmm the spot above the jack is a perfect little spot for this thing! and sure enough it fit! so this will become my emergency; emergency, backup air source. ;-)

    Pics attached:
