Not pulling the trigger and getting mine BEFORE I blew the head gasket on my old 2001 Frontier that I bought new in 2000. Got 1/3 of what I could have if I had sold it a year ago when I first started wanting a Taco. Love the new truck though

I knew going in that I wanted a base Prerunner, and since they have the black flares and bumpers, I felt black was the best color...and I still do. When it's clean, it looks great! But...it gets hot in Texas and black just amplifies the heat. I also looked at a white SR5, which might have been a better choice in the summer. And, I wish I had gotten better looking wheels.

So far my only regret is going through toyota financial for my loan. Sure my bank would have been a higher interest rate, but it would have been cheaper in the long run as I paid it off in two and half instead of five years. Toyota financial includes the interest in the loan amount so it doesn't matter how fast you pay it off you still pay the same amount.

No regrets. 30K out the door. Not bad for a DC 4x4 in today's market. My 3rd Tacoma.
But, seeing the prices of the gen3, probably my last. I'll probably go back to a domestic full size.

The thing I love the most is the thing I also regret the most... The manual transmission. The rev hang is awful. Also the pinging... The TSB only made my pinging better, it never even came close to eliminating it.

should have waited to get a '16... bought a '15 in June but still loving it so really can't complain too much. But definitely gonna be jealous when my dad gets his '16 in a couple weeks once it gets built and it has all the updated stuff - especially the interior... not too jealous about his ugly ass grill though

What makes you think that? Mine is a simple interest contract. If I pay it off early, less interest is paid..

False. I used Toyota Financial a few years back on a 4Runner for my wife, and this is not the case. If they really did charge you ALL of the interest up front, that'd be horrific and I don't know why in the world you would sign up for that. I have never, ever heard of that in any financial institution, ever - and I'm a business guy.

Regret-wise, so far my only regret is an automatic transmission. Manual trannies are so hard to find, and there weren't any around when I was looking - but sometimes I wish I had made flying somewhere and driving it back an option so that I could find that diamond out there w/ everything I wanted, including a manual tranny.

Other than that, pretty happy with my '15! Infinitely glad I didn't go with a '16.

One can never have too many light bars.
This is incorrect. It's a compounding interest loan so the smaller your balance is than the less interest you pay. It's just like a mortgage and pretty much every other loan.

getting an access cab. i think they look better than double cabs, but not as practical. also double cabs look pretty sweet once you add bigger tires and some lift.
