So, I finally got back to the US of A and bought be my second Tacoma. TRD Sport DCLB 2015 Metallic Gray, 4x4. I've been following the TW for many months while I was away; researching, getting ideas, and of course buying my add-ons. I'm going to update the post with my list and post pics as I go. This is going to be a Father & Sons project, they don't know that yet! My oldest has my 2006 TRD Sport 4x4 ext. cab. black. Thanks for all of the information sharing and support.

 

So I did a few mods over this past weekend. Interior/Exterior LED lights. Very easy and love the results.

 

Redline hood struts.

 

Gate Keeper tail gate lock.

 

I did the Paracord grab bar/door handle wrap. It's going to work just fine; it'll be good dirt prevention.

 

Led Hood light kit from BeeRad.

 

De-baged and all smooth. I used the fishing line after I heated them up with a hair dryer. Very easy +3hp!

 

Gentex 453 with Homelink, Direction, and Temp. Thanks to Bobs Mirrors for the temperature and wire harness.

 

I'll be following this one closely. So far you've done the mods I'm looking at starting with, in the same order I was thinking of doing them, ha.

 

Sub'd. Some great first mods. I'm also away, and won't be back for a bit - you have added a few more things to my list of to-dos on the '15 I picked up right before leaving. The 550 cord is a nice touch! Did you do that yourself, or find a place that had something pre-done?

Fog light anytime the ignition is in on position.

 

@GKrigger , I read some of the reviews on Amazon that the reverse lights in the pack you bought aren't very bright. Did you find that to be true?

 

@Mack83 , I bought the same LED light kit and yes the reverse lights are not very bright. When you look at them they look pretty bright, but they don't really project at all. From what I've read on here the Phillips LED bulbs are the best.

 

@Mack83 , I didn't install those yet. I have a BHLM going in the front and back and was going to handle that at that time. But I'll post up the results. I'll be sure to do a before and after picture. I'll be doing that just after Thanksgiving.
