I recently installed some KO2's on my stock TRD Off Road rims. Never satisfied, I now want faux beadlock TRD's. I've been told there is a risk of damage to tires from removing them for re-install, specifically that it could result in sidewall bulges. Any truth to this?

not really i've moved tires between rims and never had a problem. think about it, most tire shops will sell you used tires they have in back, those tire disposal fees we all pay don't always go toward their disposal. those tire have been mounted, unmounted and remounted.

Also when they go to fix a flat they usually remove your tire to check the inside and patch it from the inside then remount it on the wheel.

Yup, tires can be mounted and dismounted a few times, but its always a risk.

Up here we get a second set of rims pretty common, one for winter tires the other dor summer tires. Works out cheaper in usually 3 or 4 years.

I dont know of one personaly,, but if you mount and dismount a tire enoufh times the metal cord in the bead will eventually stretch.

Someone wants to sell you new ones. I have sold OEM right from the dealership and also swapped them to one of my own trucks. I have also sold used ones to a friend.
