I picked up a 2016 Sport Double Cab 4x4 in Super White on Friday. So far I am really enjoying the truck, it is so quiet compared to my 2010. Although I do have a lift on the 2010 and BF Goodrich Mud Terrains. Doubt I will be doing much to this truck, I like how it is stock and so far I tinted the windows 20% all around last night. With privacy glass the back windows and slider comes out to 5%.

Like people have said on here, from a dead stop at a light, seems like it takes a bit more to get up and go then my 2010. The interior at night is really nice and I really like the moon roof. Haven't drove all that much just yet, but figured I would post some pics and tell the deal I got.

Normally in New Mexico there is 3% tax which I avoided being that my trade (2014 Corvette) was worth more then the vehicle itself, didn't know that and I guess this will vary by state but nice to save the $1147.20 on taxes on the $38,240.00. I got the technology package, so MSRP was $39,240, but I got $1,000 off MSRP ($38,240) because I really didn't want the Tonneau cover so they said they would give me that money and then some off which was nice, but I got to keep the cover, which I may or may not sell. I been thinking it may be good in the winter to lock up my snowboard/gear on the slopes.

Now I will sell the 2010 Tacoma and start my search for a new sports car. My friend may sell his Ferrari F430 for a 458, so maybe I can pick up the F430. But for now, time to throw the dirt bikes in the back and enjoy the 2016 Tacoma!!!

P.S. No idea who the lady is in the back who Photobombed the photo.

from black to white. You liking the lighter color more? I'm always torn between gray and white myself.

Nice truck! I am trying to pick between white and silver.

As for the taxes, that will not be dependent on the state. Taxes are applied after a trade-in value has been deducted. i.e. 30K truck - 10K trade = 20K in remaining cost to tax.

Since your trade covered the cost of the vehicle, you didn't have to worry about taxes.

When I bought my 2010 I was between black and white. Before the 2010 I had a white S-10 when I was stationed in Hawaii. Great little island truck. But I figured I would try black and don't get me wrong I liked the black alot even though it was tough to keep clean. But wow, that black sure attracts heat and here in New Mexico I think white is the way to go :)

When putting the 2 trucks side by side, I like the look of the black truck more. It just looks more classy to me. Just my opinion.

Nice truck ........So you got tired of your Vette too? I went to Kerbecks with my GMSP to look at C7s in 2014 and trade my C6 but to me in person they looked like a prop from a Transformer movie......Nice but in someone else's garage...too much of an attention seeker for me. Sooooo I bought a 12 Miata SE instead. Its a hoot to drive and no worries about rain and constant primping. Bullet proof reliability as well.

Driving a slow car fast is much more fun than driving a fast car slow to stay legal . Looking forward to getting my truck though.

Chrome bumper looks better. More traditional Tacoma style.

Glad to see others are choosing white.Seems the MGM is thee popular truck around here. After having blck I can understand the choice of white,,,Black and all dark colors are a career to keep looking good. But unlike a car , it's a truck so it does not have to be Zaino'd

Ordered the N-FAB 3in nerf bars today from runningboardwarehouse.com with Promo Code Save30 and saved $30.00 with Free Shipping so came out to $369.00. Also this past weekend I got new Hankook DynaPro AT-M to replace the Toyo A30 tires it comes with the mini van passenger tire. They look awesome and ride really nice/quiet thus far. When I get the N-Fab bars installed I will post pictures of it on this thread.
