I've done Cleghorn a couple times in my Tacoma and have been through all of the back trails through Arrowhead in my friends 2WD GMC and have never had an issue ... Most trails themselves are easy level, few rocks here and there but most only stick a couple inches out of the ground. I kept 4X4 on the entire time in my Tacoma, but never "needed" it.. aside from after the last rain when I went out to play in the soft dirt (almost mud).

There are offshoot trails, usually loops, that identify whether they are medium or hard along the routes. All (or most) of the trails are also on Google Maps and even are on my Tacoma's Nav with breadcrumps (on by default) that are VERY useful.

We have a group on TW that went out last month. We camped in a campground off the 38 and went off road. It was a blast.

I just tagged you in the TW Takeover for Saturday. Maybe you can make that one. We are a good guys that have Tacoma's in common. You might find a co-pilot for your next run.

Sorry, I realize we had tagged you before. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the meet. Trying to get good people we chat with to show up.

You'll be fine. Some of the side trails were really easy on the front side. On the backside though the side trails were pretty rutted, and I crawled out with some scrapes but nothing too serious. I did also get to break in my rock sliders last weekend though. Im planning on doing it again this saturday. But I'm not sure if I'm going to be doing just Pilot Rock to Lake Arrowhead so I can get some fishing time up there.

    Anyone else interested?
